Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. Book a boat trip, a walking tour or a Plitvice day trip through one of them and a commission may come back to us. You pay exactly what you would pay anyway.

How Links And Bookings Work

The paid links on this site sit on tour and activity pages. A listing for a Zadar boat trip, a Plitvice or Krka day tour, a kayak outing, a food tour, a walking tour or a free-tip walk connects to a live booking page run by an outside platform. When a reservation is made through one of those links, this site earns a commission on it. Tours and activities are the only things linked here for pay, so you will find no affiliate links for hotels, car hire, flights, transfers or bus tickets anywhere on these pages. The price on the booking page is the same whether you click a link here or open the page by typing its address yourself.

What Earns Nothing

A good deal of this guide earns nothing. The pay-what-you-want walks are free to reserve, and the guide takes only the tip you hand over at the end. Museums and churches sell tickets through their own pages, and those links are plain directions, not paid ones. The Sea Organ, the Greeting to the Sun, the Roman Forum and the old town squares cost nothing and link to nobody. Advice on city buses and the ferry port is written without any booking link attached. These sit beside the affiliate picks, not behind them, and nothing here is paywalled or hidden.

What The Links Never Change

Which tours appear on this site, and in what order, is decided editorially. No operator pays for a listing, a ranking or a favorable mention. Ratings, review counts, durations and from-prices are the figures published on the live listings themselves, repeated here only where they are real. When a number cannot be checked against a listing or an official source, it is left out entirely rather than guessed.

Questions about any of this can go to the contact page, and the privacy policy covers how data is handled.
